Directions

From Richmond (1-95 North)

• If you are traveling north on 1-95 North, take the Fort Belvoir Exit 161 B (U.S. Rt 1 – Richmond Highway).
• You will travel five miles to Fort Belvoir.
• Continue through the light at the Fairfax County Parkway (VA 7100). At the next stoplight, on the right side you will see the entrance for Tulley Gate, turn right.

From Washington DC (1-95 South)

• If you are traveling south on 1-95, take the Fairfax Parkway/Backlick Road (7100) exit 166 A. 
• Take the Fairfax County Parkway to its end at U.S. Rt. 1 (Richmond Highway). 
• Turn left. 
• At the first light, on the right, is the entrance for Tulley Gate on to Fort Belvoir. 
• This is the main entrance to the post and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• All visitors to Fort Belvoir without DOD decals on their vehicles must stop at Tulley Gate to receive a temporary vehicle pass. For more information about temporary or long-term visitors' passes, click here or call the VPOC during weekday hours at (703) 806-4892.

Once on base:

• Enter through the Tully Gate. Once you exit the gate, proceed to the first light at Gunston Road (you will see a sign that directs you to take a left to get to the officer’s club – IGNORE the sign and keep going straight to Gunston Road).
• Take a right onto Gunston Road.
• Stay on Gunston Road until it ends at an exit gate. Just before the gate, take a left onto 23 rd Street.
• Stay on 23 rd Street to the end, and take a right onto Belvoir Drive.
• Once on Belvoir Drive, follow the signs to the Officer’s Club (Left onto Woodlawn Drive to the end at the Officer’s Club).
• Free Parking is available in the Club lot.
